Active In-Licensing Program
YM BioSciences in-licenses products at early stages of development and advances those products along the drug development, clinical and regulatory pathways toward registration. As a public company (AMEX:YMI; TSX:YM), YM BioSciences has a track record for accessing the capital necessary for clinical drug development while providing liquidity for its investors. The company has raised more than $55 million in the past 12 months and maintains a strong cash position (>$80 million net as at March 31, 2011). YM BioSciences retains an experienced management team with proven competencies in the development and commercialization of small molecules and biologicals.
We are actively searching for new in-licensing opportunities to enhance the YM BioSciences portfolio:

Indications: oncology, hematology, inflammation

Development stage: at least 'optimized lead'; preclinical through Phase I/II preferred

Other requirements: Drug candidates should have a defined route to clinic, a credible understanding of mechanism of action, strong IP and commercial potential.
